In 2019, 19,695 cats with 7,094 different names (data for 2012–2026; the lists below are for 2019, the yearly lists further down for other years). Names of cats licensed in Toronto in each calendar year, with counts (licences are renewed yearly, so a pet appears in every year it was licensed). 2012-2019 list every name; from 2020 on the city publishes only the top 200 names per year, so later years have no long tail (the current year is partial).
